Data FilesGlobal files are available as .csv, .mat, and .netcdf files, and additionally regional files are available as .csv files. They can be obtained from the GLODAP page at NOAA’s OCADS National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) data archive or using the links below. For the csv files, the file EXPOCODES.txt can be used for translating cruise number, as given in the data files, to cruise expocodes. The expocodes are included within the master netCDF and Matlab files. The cruise_uncertainties.csv file includes cruise uncertainties for all core parameters that reflect uncertainties from variations in practices that are consistent on a cruise but vary between cruises. To propagate the cruise uncertainties through a given analysis, these should be represented by a common perturbation affecting all measurements from a given cruise. Please refer to Lange et al. (submitted) and Humphreys et al. (preprint) for further details on the content of these files.

Tables with all the GLODAPv3 cruise-pair offsets are provided through the GLODAP GitHub repository. The repository also contains all code used in the preparation of GLODAPv3, including a script for removing all applied adjustments and generating an unadjusted version of GLODAPv3. The GLODAPv3 Metadata Table is also hosted here.
